In both Missouri Flora and Summerville, the flag book form becomes an archive for materials found in the landscape, whether in Springfield, Missouri or Augusta, Georgia. For each, plants are collected, dried, and permanently attached to the flags of each book. Additional printed elements are compiled as well, creating pop-up sculptural assemblages portraying these places.
